Room Dust Collector

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: BLAST ROOM DUST COLLECTOR FOR BLASTING OPERATIONS

The Room Dust Collector is a vital component of the recovery system, designed to capture dust generated during blasting activities inside the blast room. It ensures a clean, safe working environment while offering significant energy savings by returning conditioned air back to the room.

How It Works

Dust-laden air is extracted from the blast room through wall-mounted ducts and enters the inlet plenum of the collector. Upon entry, heavy particles fall immediately into the hopper. As the air flows through the filter cartridges, dust accumulates on the outside of the filtering media.

Automatic Filter Cleaning (Uninterrupted Operation)

Solenoid valves introduce jets of high-pressure air into each pair of cartridges alternately. This creates a reverse airflow that cleans the filter cartridges, with dislodged dust settling into the hopper. Because each pair of cartridges is cleaned in succession, the operation remains continuous and uninterrupted.

Energy-Saving Air Recirculation

Air inlet grids return 80%–90% of the cleaned air back into the blast room. This feature is particularly critical for climate-controlled blast rooms, as it significantly reduces heating and cooling costs.
