BulkBlaster
The Blast Pot is a dual-chamber, continuous-use blasting unit designed for manual blasting operations. Engineered for both abrasive blasting and air-only cleaning, it delivers uninterrupted performance while prioritizing user safety and facility protection.
How It Works
Blasting is controlled using a deadman handle (available in electric or pneumatic versions) located on the manual blasting hose. A trigger switch on the deadman handle activates the blasting process. The blast pot is managed by a separate control panel connected to the deadman switch. This panel governs the control valves within the blasting pot’s control unit, which in turn operate the blast pot valves.
Dual-Chamber Design for Continuous Operation
The blast pot features two chambers:
- Lower Chamber – Used for active blasting
- Upper Chamber – Used for refilling, ensuring continuous operation without downtime
Filler valves are attached to both the upper and lower tanks. These valves operate based on feedback from chamber sensors, automatically opening and closing to manage filling and refilling cycles. This sensor-controlled system ensures user safety and protects the facility from overpressure or misoperation.
Maintenance Access
Access manholes are installed on the body, providing entry to both the upper and lower tanks for routine inspection and maintenance.
Versatile Operation
The blast pot can be used for:
- Abrasive blasting
- Air-only cleaning
