Saudi ARAMCO - International Maritime Industries (IMI)
Location: Ras Al-Khair, Saudi Arabia
IMI is a world-scale maritime and offshore industrial complex developed by a consortium led by Saudi Aramco. Euroblast was entrusted with the execution of advanced robotic blasting and painting facilities supporting oil rig jack-up leg manufacturing and shipyard block production.
Scope included multiple large-scale, climate-controlled blast and paint chambers, including fully robotic blasting rooms with 8-axis automation, abrasive recovery systems, dust collection, and environmental conditioning. These facilities support high-throughput production while meeting stringent Aramco quality, safety, and environmental standards.
In addition to the jack-up leg facility, Euroblast executed blasting and painting infrastructure for IMI shipyard blocks, including Mega Block and Standard Block facilities. These projects reinforce Euroblast’s capability to deliver complex, large-module surface preparation facilities for the offshore and maritime sector.

Corporate Policies & Standards
Procurement, Vendor Assessment & Evaluation
Euroblast follows a structured procurement policy designed to ensure quality, compliance, cost efficiency, and schedule certainty. All vendors and suppliers are evaluated through a formal prequalification and assessment process covering technical capability, manufacturing capacity, quality systems, financial stability, delivery performance, and compliance with international standards. Procurement activities are closely integrated with engineering to ensure material and equipment compatibility. Long-lead items are identified early, and procurement strategies are aligned with project schedules to mitigate risks. Approved vendors are periodically re-evaluated to ensure continuous performance improvement.
Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC)
Euroblast operates a robust Quality Management System covering all phases of project execution—from design and procurement to fabrication, installation, and commissioning. QA/QC plans are developed on a project-specific basis, incorporating inspection and test plans (ITPs), material traceability, fabrication inspections, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and site acceptance tests (SAT). All blasting and painting facilities are designed and constructed to ensure compliance with relevant ISO, ASME, and client-specific standards. Continuous quality monitoring ensures consistent coating performance, operational reliability, and long-term asset integrity.
Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Policy
Safety and environmental protection are core values at Euroblast. We adopt a zero-harm philosophy and implement stringent EHS management systems across all projects. Our facilities are designed with advanced dust collection, VOC control, ventilation, and environmental conditioning systems to minimize environmental impact.
On-site activities are governed by comprehensive risk assessments, method statements, permit-to-work systems, and safety training programs. Euroblast is committed to protecting personnel, clients, communities, and the environment while maintaining high productivity.
